Educational activities
Teaching, examining and adjudicating have always been a very important part of Danielle's life and career.
Danielle has taught private students ever since turning professional and continues to do so today.
She also taught musicianship at the Royal College of Music Junior Department for many years and has seen many of her former students there become successful international musicians.
Further to this, Danielle became an examiner for Trinity Guildhall, for whom she writes the harp syllabuses and examines students both in the UK and in the far corners of the planet. She also helps to train new examiners and moderate Diploma exams.
The attention to detail developed through examining as well as a perfectionism in her own playing combined with her natural enthusiasm for encouraging developing players young and old has made her very popular and in-demand for both giving masterclasses and adjuducating competitions at music festivals and other events.
